Digital Photoshop rendering, no AI
Here is the long-awaited new version of Teejo’s Pub des Rencontres, a digital artwork that has become iconic. This painting is the fruit of meticulous, passionate work, carried out over many dozen hours, where every detail was designed to create a rich, mysterious, and deeply immersive narrative universe.
In this homage to Edward Hopper, the famous nocturnal bar becomes a temporal crossroads, a living theater where characters from different eras, artistic movements, and cultural universes cross paths. Classical, modern, historical, or imaginary figures mingle in a reimagined scene, creating a fascinating visual game of references, reappropriations, and impossible encounters.
"Hopper posed a silence. I slipped music into it, a silent but loud painting. This painting is a reunion of an impossible, but joyful family. A moment of sharing between eras, styles, and faces. Proof that art can be a remedy for emptiness." Teejo
Each character (approximately 20 master paintings) has been entirely recreated (tablet + Photoshop), integrated with a keen sense of light and chromatic coherence to respect Hopper’s unique atmosphere while asserting Teejo’s artistic signature.
10 copies only
Dimensions: 100 x 50 cm
No frame, no chassis
Teejo is a French contemporary artist. He modernizes old masterpieces by great masters, reimagining them through his own vision. He aims to introduce the world to older master paintings that may have been forgotten over time. His passion for classical art has allowed him to develop his talent. He has also created new original works combining poetry, satire, prevention, and imagination, conveying many messages through his creations. These works are sold worldwide.
He creates his works using digital tools like Photoshop and enjoys mixing and revisiting techniques to obtain the best result.
