About the artist:
Robert Seikon (born in 1987 in Gdynia, Poland) is a Polish contemporary artist based in central Greece, where he lives and works in a studio. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, he has been active on the international art scene since the late 1990s. His work centers on painting, mural fresco, and sculptural installation.
Seikon develops a visual language based on geometry, straight lines, and formal construction. He is particularly known for his abstract compositions made of crisp geometric shapes, transforming surfaces through color, rhythm, and structure.
Over the years, his style has evolved: from rigorous minimalist abstraction, his work has gradually moved toward a more organic and non-representational approach, influenced by his attachment to nature. The strict lines then transform into more fluid structures, conveying a sensitive reading of the environment.
In recent years, his involvement in the project "RURALES" marks an important milestone in his career. This project, developed with his crew in rural areas, fosters reflection on landscape, territory, and the relationship between contemporary art and the environment. These experiences have deeply influenced his current production, strengthening the dialogue between geometric abstraction and natural elements.
Robert Seikon has presented his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Europe, the United States, Asia, and Oceania. Notable exhibitions include "ATMOSPHERE" (solo) at Dynasty Gallery in Taipei (2019), "RITE" (solo show) at Galerie 42b (2017–2018), as well as participations in exhibitions at RedLine Contemporary Art Center (Denver), Mirus Gallery, Danysz Gallery (Paris), and Swinton Gallery (Madrid).
His work has also been shown in New York, Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, Prague, Taipei, Mumbai, and San Francisco, confirming his active presence on the international stage of contemporary abstraction and urban art.
Between geometric rigor and organic sensitivity, Robert Seikon develops a structured, immersive, and evolving body of work. His approach, at the crossroads of architectural abstraction and landscape contemplation, makes him a singular figure on the European contemporary art scene.
