Description from the seller

Carlo Borri, a self-taught painter born in 1952 in Naples. He frequents the workshop of Carignani, the last nineteenth-century painter, then he is enchanted by the lightened palette, first of Tafuri Clemente and then of Mariano Fortuny. His paintings, resolved with a wholly personal technique, want to be admired at a proper distance to render them at their best.
