This lot consists of a set of five traditional Japanese tea saucers (Chataku) made of pure copper, complete with the original wooden storage box.

Each saucer features finely engraved bamboo motifs, a design that has long been regarded as an auspicious symbol in traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

The copper material has developed a natural patina over time, displaying subtle color variations and a soft luster that enhance the vintage character of the set.

Maker’s marks are present on the underside, reflecting the production background typical of Japanese craft items from the period.

In addition to their practical use as tea utensils, these pieces are also suitable as design references, interior decorative items, or collectible objects.
