Anton Heyboer, Boot (YM348), a 1986 mixed‑technique Cobra artwork, 78 by 108 cm, from the Netherlands, hand‑signed, original edition, in good condition, sold by owner or reseller.
Description from the seller
Beautiful original artwork by Anton Heyboer depicting Anton Heyboer’s boat, namely YM348. This is also noted on the sail and near the signature. The piece is made with paint and oil crayon on thick paper and is fully signed on the reverse.
Heyboer has depicted himself on the deck, sailing at the fish auction in IJmuiden. Because of the smell of the fish there, there were few other people, making it for him a pleasant, quiet place he liked to come to. On the rear-right is the lighthouse of IJmuiden. In one of the photos, Anton Heyboer himself can be seen on his boat in IJmuiden.
The artwork is in good condition and rich in color. In two corners of the paper there are stamps, which is characteristic of the high-quality thick paper that Anton Heyboer used (see photos).
This is the finest artwork with his boat that I bought from Anton Heyboer himself at the time. There will be no more boats after this, and this is your chance to buy the last artwork.
The artwork will be neatly and securely packed for shipment to you.
