Maria Ruissi, born in 1983, is a design engineer, researcher, and contemporary artist.
Since 2018, she has been developing an in-depth artistic research around materials, textures and the interactions between light, surface and emotion. Her work is rooted in a demanding experimental approach, blending scientific rigor with artistic sensitivity.
Each work is the fruit of a slow, evolving process, sometimes spread over several months. Maria Ruissi works in successive phases, regularly integrating new materials, new pigments and new treatments, to achieve a precise balance between depth, energy and visual readability.
