Bruno Cantais, professional painter based in Lyon, is registered as a contributor to the Maison des Artistes.
Born in 1966 in Le Havre.
Bruno Cantais explores several techniques, ranging from the abstract expressionism of Rauschenberg, to projections of matter, to Pop Art collage, or expressionism.
He digs into the surface of the canvas, carving grooves that seem to open pathways or sometimes get lost in the fogs of color. His inspiration is order and disorder, of feeling and perception, of shadow and light, of emptiness and fullness.
