Willem Heytman (1950) - Piccadilly Circus

A beautiful cityscape—London/Piccadilly Circus—by the well-known coastal and urban painter Willem Heytman.
The painting, unframed, 50 x 60 cm, is in excellent condition.
Born in 1950 in Overveen.
As a descendant of the Dutchman Johan Barthold Jongkind (1819-1891), we already see, at a young age, notebooks filled with pages of drawings made between classes.
Soon after finishing school, Heytman begins to experiment with pastels, watercolors, and oil paints, and he mainly focuses on the latter.
His first exhibition took place in 1976 in Middelburg, Zeeland. He still lives in that province.
