Vintage flatware service with shell motif and serving pieces – stamped “ARG. 800”
Elegant set of cutlery with a classic taste, featuring handles shaped with a rich relief decoration: a terminal shell joins swirls and vegetal motifs, creating a harmonious design that unifies the different elements of the service.
The lot includes spoons, forks, knives and teaspoons, as well as a ladle, a serving spoon and a two-tork fork. The knives have blades with a finish different from the decorated handles.
On the pieces you can see the inscription “ARG. 800”, accompanied by a small square mark. The punch is shown as observable in the photographs; the metal composition and the manufacturer have not been verified.
The set retains a pleasant patina of age. There are superficial scratches, oxidations and stains, also on the blades, as documented in the images. The decorations remain legible and give the service a strong ornamental character.
The service is part of classic 60s-70s Italian offerings, commercial plated silver services.
