In-12°, full calf leather binding, smooth spine ornamented with fleurons, fillets and gilt panels, title pieces on red morocco, volume label on bottle-green morocco, titles gilt. Covers decorated with an framing of a fine gold garland. Heads and tails decorated. All edges marbled. Bookmarks preserved.

Epidermises and traces of use-related rubbing on spine and boards. Corners and headcaps rubbed and worn with some loss (Mystères 2, Exhortation 2, Dimanches 3). Small wormholes on the spine (Carême 3, Mystères 2, Panégyrique 1 and 2, Exhortation 1, Dimanches 3).

Interior fresh. The volumes practically free of foxing, apart from a few scattered instances.
