Decorative ornament - Netherlands - Hot air balloon

Decorative hanging object in the shape of a classic hot air balloon with basket and passengers.
The balloon features panels in warm red and natural tones and is hand-painted.

The balloon and the figures are made of wood and ceramic, which provides a detailed finish and a relatively solid weight.
Below the balloon hangs a woven basket (rattan/reed) with three hand-painted figures peering over the edge.
The basket is equipped with decorative fabric sandbags, giving the piece a nostalgic and playful character.

The object is intended as a decorative hanging ornament and has a metal hanging hook on the top.

Attention: one arm of a figure is broken (see close-up photo).
