A pair of gorgeous antique French Belle Epoque gold plated cufflinks in dumbbell/barbell design.

Stamped PL.OR GALV for Plaque d'or galvanique, electroplated gold.

Maker's mark G*S, possibly Gustave Sandoz (gallerie Valois, Paris, active ca.1890s) or Gédéon Sénéchal (69 rue du Temple, Paris, active ca.1891-1907).

Length: 2.7cm.
Ball diameter: 0.9cm.
Weight: 17g all-in (the base metal is quite heavy).


Condition: there are some marks and scuffs and age-related patina, please refer to the photos for detail; cleaned in a jewellery cleaning bath and ready to wear.
