Description from the seller
THE ORIGIN OF THE WORLD
95 x 75 cm
Acrylic on canvas
Unique work. Signed at the bottom right
DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
In The Origin of the World, Xandro builds the composition around a dark central nucleus that functions as a focal visual condensation point. The curved shapes surrounding it unfold into wide fields of color, generating a contained tension between expansion and gathering.
The relationship between the pink, ochre, blue, and violet planes establishes a sober chromatic balance, where contrast is not harsh but structural. The shapes articulate on a single plane, without illusionistic depth, reinforcing the two-dimensionality and the deliberate construction of the pictorial space.
The result is a work that oscillates between organic and geometric, where formal synthesis concentrates attention on the relationship between form, boundary, and color.

The work is executed in high-pigment professional acrylic on canvas.
The 95 x 75 cm format is suitable for stretchers with a recommended depth of 2.5 cm.
