Description from the seller
MARIPOSA EFFECT
95 x 75 cm
Acrylic on canvas
Unique work. Signed at the bottom right.
DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
In Butterfly Effect, Xandro organizes the composition from broad organic shapes that move vertically, creating a sense of continuous transformation. The pink planes emerge against a deep blue background, establishing a contrasting relationship that activates the surface without fragmenting it.
The dominant curves produce an ascending, undulating movement that suggests expansion and variation. Color functions as a structural element: it does not describe, but delineates and builds the pictorial space. The interaction between the pink areas, the blue, and the darker zones establishes a dynamic balance where each form responds to the presence of the other.
The work invites a reading based on displacement and visual interdependence, where small formal variations alter the overall rhythm of the composition.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The work is executed in high-pigment professional acrylic on canvas.
The format 95 x 75 cm is suitable for a stretch with a recommended depth of 2.5 cm.
Each piece is made entirely by hand in the artist's studio.
