Description from the seller
Hurricane Polimar evokes the epic of 1980s cartoons, when masked heroes and spectacular transformations kept kids glued to the TV. Takeshi, with his “Casco Polimet”, transforms into Polimar, a hero capable of shifting into futuristic vehicles to fight crime. The work captures that colorful, dynamic energy typical of Tatsunoko series, blending action, irony, and nostalgia in a vibrant homage to the animation of an unforgettable era. The piece is in perfect condition, oil on wood. The wooden structure is entirely handmade; the base is a mix of plaster and bonding stucco. A structure that does not distort over time. Oil painting using Maimeri Classic colors. Together with the artwork will be provided the authenticity document of the work itself signed by the artist registered in the artists’ registry. Classic packaging with a wooden crate or heavy-duty custom-made cardboard. Roberto Re is an Italy-based artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally as well as in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, San Marino, Austria, the United States, Switzerland, and Monaco. His artistic expression always rests on different themes or “veins,” through which he builds the techniques and the style to best express his concept. The artistic journey of Re began with informal abstraction and evolved toward surrealism and cubism. Roberto has received numerous awards from critics and has been published in industry magazines such as Juliet and CAM of Mondadori.
