Morah is an original acrylic painting on cotton canvas, 100 x 75 cm, created in 2026 in Spain, with a surrealist landscape theme inspired by Magritte, hand-signed and accompanied by an original certificate of authenticity, unframed and unstretched, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
BOSQUE INGRÁVIDO 96 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Bosque Ingrávido,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that binds them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not random: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of the organic and the stable, while the color play —with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows— intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series raises essential questions: What happens when we take the weight out of nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one that is more emotional than physical? “Bosque Ingrávido” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberating act that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Bosque Ingrávido” in itself already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
