This painting depicts a very intimate and secluded female nude; the girl's gaze is directed downward, her body is tucked in a graceful pose, and her arms form a protection against the outside world. The soft tangle of hair also seems to participate, falling thickly like a curtain, as if to hide the woman. Made with oil colors on canvas that had been pre-toned, in fact in several spots of the flesh tones different shades emerge from the predominant black and white. The face is well defined while the rest of the body fades to almost just a hinted line. The canvas measures 80x60 cm, it is ready to be hung and is shipped with a certificate of authenticity.
