Fusion – Original work by ALGO

Created in the garage of his childhood, at a pivotal moment of his life — at the end of his studies, between city and countryside — this work marks a profound transition in ALGO’s career. It sits within a series devoted to his personal vision of nature: a raw, living nature, in continual mutation.

At the center of the composition, a dense, organic form seems at once to emerge and to burn away. It evokes an incandescent flower, a melting material, or a nucleus in transformation. Vibrant reds dominate the surface, pierced by bright yellow sparks and deep blacks, creating an intense visual tension. This confrontation of colors expresses the idea of fusion: fusion of elements, spaces, energies, but also stages of life.

ALGO worked the material with a knife, giving the work a powerful relief and expressive texture. The painting was then blown with a compressor, generating spontaneous, organic movements that reinforce the sense of vitality. Nails were integrated into the surface to seal the material, symbolically anchoring the work in the garage universe — a place of memory, experimentation, and transformation.

The superposition of a central square on a vibrant background intensifies the dialogue between structure and chaos, mastery and instinct.
