Description from the seller
Title: Fragmented Face #24
Series: Geometries of the Self
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
A female figure emerges from geometry and color, built from planes that intertwine like fragments of the same emotion. The face, divided and yet balanced, dialogues between the rational and the sensitive: one side marked by firm lines and deep contrasts, the other softened by warm tones and open surfaces.
The colors — intense blues, powder pinks, vibrant reds, and deep blacks — create a harmonic tension that recalls the language of Cubism, reinterpreted with contemporary sensibility. The circular golden earrings act as visual anchors, adding rhythm and an almost ritual elegance, while the small cloud above the hair introduces a poetic gesture, an allusion to thought, to dream, or to introspection.
The work conveys calm and strength at the same time. It is a portrait that does not seek literal representation, but the essence: identity, duality, and presence. A painting that invites you to pause, to trace its lines, and to discover, in each plane, a different story.
The canvas is carefully rolled and securely packaged in a sturdy square tube for shipping.
The images you are seeing now are examples of how the artwork can look when framed and hung on a wall.
