In Suspension, time is compressed into an instant of absolute containment. The face, captured in profile, stands at a silent threshold between breathing and holding back, between abandonment and control. A green element — strange to the body, yet in intimate contact with it — crosses the closed eye, functioning simultaneously as line, barrier and gesture of interruption.
The work explores the tension between fragility and resilience, where the skin becomes a sensitive territory and silence acquires physical weight. Extreme proximity eliminates any comfortable distance, forcing the viewer to confront the suspended moment: a state in which action has been interrupted, but the consequence has not yet occurred.
