AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

“6.2 Million Snack” – Limited Edition (100 copies) - New Collection 2026
Edition Number: 04/100
Artist: SKE
Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris
300 g fine art paper – ISO A3 format – Signed, numbered – Certificate included
In this work, SKE reinterprets one of the most commented episodes of the contemporary art market: a banana taped to the wall (comedian), sold for more than 6 million euros, by the artist Maurizio Cattelan.

Here, Gaston does not look at the artwork. He eats it. Quietly. The price tag still hangs, but the concept has already been digested. The gesture is simple, almost naive, and yet radical.

With this ironic wink, SKE questions value, storytelling, and the sometimes-deliberate absurdity of the art market. When the object disappears, what remains? The idea, the myth… or simply a very dear anecdote.

Pop touch, street energy, projections and drips place the scene in the SKE universe: accessible, funny, yet deliberately critical.

A work that makes you smile as much as it makes you question, and that reminds us that in contemporary art, everything is a matter of context… and appetite.

“6.2 Million Snack” is a vibrant and joyful piece, conceived for collectors who love pop art, reimagined comics, and works that tell a story.

A rare edition that will undoubtedly become a flagship item in your collection.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and versatile creator who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with a double meaning, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master competition (2023), then elected Artist of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as “Artist of the Month” in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited at major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE is also making waves in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.

Icons of pop culture, bold graphics, and texture plays define a now-essential style.

SKE is unquestionably an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.

Awarded & Renowned Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art

A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line shows the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed shapes to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.

POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA
Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.

LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY
In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits alongside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and high-precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes that sometimes evoke the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.

This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior.
