Description from the seller
"Redbullix" – Limited edition (100 pcs) - New collection 2026
Edition number: 05/100
Artist: SKE
Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris
300 g Art paper – ISO A3 format – Signed, numbered – Certificate included
In this work, SKE reinterprets one of the most famous myths in comics: Asterix and his magic potion.
Here, no more cauldron or druid. The recipe has evolved. The potion is now called Redbullix.
Asterix drinks, wings grow, energy overflows. The power is immediate, spectacular, almost too perfect. The antique myth meets modern marketing, and magic becomes a product ready to consume.
With humor and a wink, SKE plays on the slippage between tradition and contemporary pop culture. What was once legend becomes a visual promise, direct and effective.
Pop sharpness, street energy, projections and splashes reinforce the explosive character of the scene.
A light, ironic, and highly legible work, which questions our relationship to myths, brands, and modern magic.
Characteristics:
• Limited edition of 100 copies
• Printed on premium 300 g art paper
• ISO A3 format, easy to frame
• Each copy signed and numbered by SKE
• Delivered with certificate of authenticity
• Protected shipping, reinforced packaging
"Redbullix" is a vibrant and joyful piece, designed for collectors who love pop art, reimagined comics, and works that tell a story.
A rare edition that will undoubtedly become a flagship item in your collection.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist with a jack-of-all-trades approach who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring much of his artistic work.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he has also appeared in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been shown in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, strengthening his position on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, reinforcing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture play define a style that is now essential.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Awarded & Renowned Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
SKE’s work fits into a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA
Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic avarice. The influence of gaming, comics, and superheroes is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY
In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The dollar sign sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also includes automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes that evoke the glossy surface of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your home.
