Description from the seller
Landscape, view, acrylic 50x50 on MDF, unique piece, entirely handmade by the artist Sebastiano Plutino. Certified with the artist's signature and stamp.
Sebastiano Plutino (Reggio Calabria, June 20, 1973) is an Italian painter and contemporary artist. After studying at the Liceo Artistico “Mattia Preti” in Reggio Calabria, he dedicates himself fully to painting, developing a personal stylistic idiom that blends figurative and informal elements. His work is characterized by a particular sensitivity to the sea, nature, and Mediterranean culture: his “seascapes” evoke meditative atmospheres, often dominated by bright skies, wide horizons, and waters in constant motion, in a painting that conveys suggestion and introspection.
Alongside seascapes, Plutino creates portraits — often of female figures — and informal landscapes, using oils, enamels, and acrylics on board or MDF, with decisive brushstrokes and dense, meaningful color stratifications.
His career includes numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad: his works have been shown in galleries such as Galleria ArteToma (Reggio Calabria), OnArt Gallery (Florence), Galleria Serraino (Reggio Calabria) and in events such as ArtePadova and PaviArt.
