Description from the seller

This work has been selected for an exhibition in Spain.

Antonio Valenzuela presents a collection of works inspired by the figure of the Cordoban woman, drawing on the aesthetic legacy of Julio Romero de Torres. The series portrays dark-haired Andalusian Gypsy women, highlighting their character, elegance, and expressive strength.

Through a warm color palette and carefully controlled lighting, Valenzuela reinterprets the Cordoban pictorial tradition from a contemporary perspective, while respecting classical figuration and the symbolic value of women in Andalusian art.

A collection conceived for collectors and spaces that value cultural identity, artistic quality, and the continuity of figurative painting..

Antonio Valenzuela
Andalusian illustrator, born in Córdoba (Spain)

In recent years he has lived and worked in Malaga as an independent artist.
He is known for his realistic illustrations of everyday objects, worn by time.
He studied at the Mateo Inurria Art School, Córdoba.

In 2020 he began to collaborate with Dolce&Gabbana on the Fatto a mano project as a garment artisan painter.
In 2021 he collaborates in the Le Monde Diplomatique collection of Casablanca Paris as a hand illustrator in the Orbite Autour De L'Orange line.

His latest collaboration has been with the well-known graffiti artist @Belin, exhibiting his Destructive beauty collection at the Rampa Pro artistic space.
Also Destructive beauty will be in Centro de arte of Benalmadena in 2025 in Malaga Andalucia
