Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage à Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was one of the co-founders of Pop Art, alongside Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects have been meticulously handcrafted by me.
The traces of the handwork are visible on the object and reflect the uniqueness of each individual piece.
Hand-signed
The art object is approx. 32/12/11 cm in ultramarine blue matte, mounted on a black glossy pedestal.
Ultramarine pigments, prepared with a formula, yield a matte, light-absorbing surface.
The less light in the room, the more intensely the blue glows.
My artworks are presented at art fairs in Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Lyon, Strasbourg ...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life. An essential feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects known from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising.
The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me, and thereby given a new life as "art objects".
