Bread basket - .835 silver

Elegant finely perforated bread basket purchased in Brussels in 1970, weighing 452 g, with an oval shape, 27 cm in width and 18 cm in depth, and a base width of 14 cm, while the pearl-edged rim has a height of 7.5 cm. As can be seen from the hallmark, it is silver 835/1000, though I do not know the maker or the manufacturing date; purchased in 1980 at the Leysen Freres jewelry shop in Brussels, just a short walk from the Grand-Place, as a piece from an earlier date. Kept in a display cabinet in my parents’ home, it is in perfect original condition—excellent patina, no dents, no cracks, no repairs, as shown in the photos that are part of the description.
