Description from the seller

Recorder 33 cm
Monogram engraved on the body (see photo) to identify
circa mid-20th century
Made of plumwood, recognizable by its reddish-brown color and its distinctive grain.
Weight: 90 grams
Good condition

Historical origin: This model is a faithful copy of instruments made by Hieronymus Franciscus Kynseker in Nuremberg between 1636 and 1686.
Musical style: It belongs to the late Renaissance and early Baroque period.
Design: Unlike later Baroque flutes (in three very tapered parts), this two-part model has a wide inner bore. This gives it a powerful and stable sound, particularly suitable for ensemble (consort) playing or for the solo repertoire of the 17th century
