Seiko is a luxury watch brand founded in Japan in the 1880s. It offers timepieces at the cutting edge of technology, known worldwide for their style and performance. In the 1960s, Seiko made a name for itself on the international sports timing scene with a whole new generation of high-precision equipment called Prospex Speedtimer. Today, it reissues this model, which represents its professional heritage in timing. Launched under reference SSC943P1, this watch combines modern technology with a retro-inspired aesthetic. It comes with a round case made of solid and durable stainless steel. Silver-toned, it features a brushed finish on the surfaces and a polished edge for a sophisticated and timeless look. It has a diameter of 41.40 mm and a thickness of 13 mm, well-considered dimensions for comfortable and practical wear. The perfectly round bezel is equipped with a green insert marked by a tachymeter scale for increased practicality and visibility. Unidirectional, it surrounds a domed sapphire crystal that provides a certain presence and a very appreciated vintage look. Protecting the dial from scratches, it is anti-reflective, ensuring excellent legibility of the indicators. On the right side, the knurled crown sits there to adjust the hours, minutes, and date. On either side of it are the pushers, neatly brushed to operate the chronograph. All of this is paired with a screw-down case back that promises a water resistance of 10 ATM.

This model is powered by a solar quartz movement of Swiss manufacture. More precisely, it is the V192 caliber, offering undeniable performance and an impressive accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. It provides a power reserve of six months, and if the watch is nearly out of charge, the second hand jumps every two seconds. Powered by any light source, it delivers a reliable analog display, a date function, and a chronograph complication.

This model offers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, i.e. 100 meters. We are talking about a truly water-resistant model! With its friendly style, it is ready to happily dive into an aquatic world with you. From puddles to the pool, this timepiece will tolerate swimming without complaint! Showering, bathing, and sporty swimming at your side pose no threat.

The watch strap is very comfortable. It is made of black bovine leather and enhanced by green stitching and a micro-perforated finish that reinforces its vintage look. Measuring 21 mm in lug width, it comes with a simple deployant buckle with sturdy pushers to give you peace of mind when the watch remains secure on the wrist.
