Description from the seller

Sterling Silver Ring with Engraved Carnelian – Qur’anic Inscription – Handmade - 20th century

Description
A finely handcrafted Persian sterling silver ring set with an oval red carnelian (aqeeq) stone, beautifully engraved with a Qur’anic verse in elegant Arabic calligraphy.

The stone is engraved with:
“And whoever relies upon Allah – then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a decreed measure.”
(Surah At-Talaq 65:3)

Such engraved aqeeq rings are traditionally worn as devotional and protective jewelry throughout Persia (Iran) and the wider Islamic world.

The ring features:
A hand-engraved carnelian intaglio
Openwork silver shoulders with floral motifs
A serrated bezel setting typical of Middle Eastern craftsmanship
Visible sterling silver hallmark inside the band
Additional maker’s mark (likely the jeweler’s stamp)
The calligraphy and setting indicate careful hand craftsmanship.
