Marco Pisano - Sa Mesa Longa

Marco Pisano (aka Junk - IG we_need_colors_) is an Italian artist who, since he was a boy, has needed art.

The collection of abstracts "we need colors" was born in 2018. "I wanted to simulate the strength, in the simplicity, of life and nature. I tried to entrust color to the strength of the earth, with an instinctive, natural, light, and essential gesture."

Sa Mesa Longa is a bay on the west coast of Sardinia, where wave surfing is practiced. The sea breaks at the entrance of a large rocky platform (hence the name Sa Mesa Longa: the big table). Sand, rock and Mediterranean vegetation feed on the sun all day long.

To date the collection counts over 200 works that can be found in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, England, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Ukraine, the Principality of Monaco, Romania, Slovenia; Hungary, Japan, United States.
