Plant table - sleek, nicely turned - Oak - Pedestal

Beautiful and decorative pedestal / plant stand / side table.
The pedestal is 63 cm high and the base has a diameter of 25 cm.
The top surface has a diameter of 23.5 cm.
Weighs just over 2.5 kg.
The pedestal probably dates from the 1970s of the previous century (it could be a little older).
The pedestal is subtly and elegantly crafted, clearly inspired by antique style. It consists of a beautifully turned shaft (see photos). The wood used is oak. It is very elegant and of good quality.
The pedestal still looks good and the wood has a nice gloss. There are signs of wear, but these are natural signs of use (see photos). The top is fixed with a visible screw. The screw is visible in the top (see photos). The classic form gives the pillar a chic appearance. Especially with a statue it makes a majestic whole (see photos)!
The pedestal can be used in several ways. It can serve as a plant stand, where it is very beautiful to place a large plant with trailing greenery on it. Because of the height of the furniture, such a plant is very nicely displayed. You can also place a work of art on the pedestal (see photos). A statue or a vase really comes into its own on this beautiful pedestal. You could even use it as a very narrow side table.
