Careful and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has evolved into a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the détournement of contemporary mass-produced goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular culture (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or even caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, combining painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration from, among others, Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general.
All potential flaws or imperfections are an integral part of the work, including any dents in non-visible parts such as the underside of the jerrycan.
