Description from the seller
Nutella Fire Extinguisher, when indulgence can’t wait! by XTC.
Fully painted with Montana spray paints and varnish.
Only painted, no stickers for a homogeneous result and better durability over time.
Empty jerrycan, of course!
Numbered and signed underneath, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
(The sent piece is not necessarily the one in the photo)
Carefully prepared and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual search has evolved into a passion that had to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or even caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general.
All potential defects or imperfections (upcycled extinguisher) are an integral part of the work.
Empty extinguisher. (It is, of course, forbidden to sell a full extinguisher whose standard labels and/or the pin are missing)
