XTC’s Jerrican Clicquot Black, a hand-signed painted steel sculpture in an edition of 7/30, created in France in 2026, measures 35 cm wide, 47 cm high and 17 cm deep with excellent condition and a COA provided.
Description from the seller
Very Large 20L Jerrycan Champagne Veuve Clicquot Noir by XTC.
Because of its size, it can be placed directly on the floor, a piece that will surely attract glances!
Only painted, no stickers for a uniform look and better durability over time.
Numbered out of 30 and signed on the bottom, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The shipped piece is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar.
Careful packing and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has become a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the détournement of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or even caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, combining painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
Among others, he draws inspiration from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising and addictions in general.
All possible defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work, including any small dings.
