Description from the seller
MiLo – “Earthy Grid”
A work by Amsterdam-based artist MiLo (1976).
This work explores rhythm through restraint. Soft warm grey tones and layered textures form a subdued field, where repetition and variation unfold quietly across the surface. The structured arrangement of vertical forms suggests order, yet the hand-drawn irregularities introduce a subtle sense of movement.
The composition balances geometry and atmosphere. What first appears systematic gradually reveals nuance — shifts in density, tone, and spacing that create a gentle visual pulse rather than rigid precision.
Hints of underlying layers emerge through the paint, giving the surface depth and a sense of time. The work evokes architectural echoes, faded markings, or distant urban impressions without settling into a fixed narrative.
Shipped securely and per Express where/when possible.
