The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before returning them individually to our collectors without any constraint. The shipping cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

If the work is damaged, you must refuse delivery and state the reason for the refusal on the delivery note, noting issues such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “bent.” If only the packaging is damaged but the contents are intact, you may accept the package. However, if both packaging and contents are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Please note that if you accept the package without verifying your purchase upon delivery, we cannot request compensation or a replacement.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, rose to prominence in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking among the top ten sculptors under 30 according to Artprice that year. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl on his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, sparked by his encounter with sculptor César Baldaccini. He later turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. The artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to merge his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition blending paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art at the Art Monaco fair with his Cryptogram One creation. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works under the theme "In God We Trust" at the Artco France gallery. His 2016 solo exhibition at the Atrium Gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works to the international press.

2026: - Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters tall, weighing 7 tons. The world's largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.
2025: - Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the newly built Pavillon des Bains, on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.
2024: - Art Miami - Collectors’ works Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram 1.8 meters tall and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; for the occasion, the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. Artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the trophies for the Deauville American Film Festival.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-tall bronze “One Dollar” was exhibited at Art Paris.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First in Spain at the Atrium Gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the mayor of the city, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work features a Maserati wrapped in a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures representing one-dollar banknotes are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt.

2014: - Maserati presents for the world premiere the Maserati Ghibli reimagined by Karl Lagasse for the brand’s 100th anniversary.
- Solo exhibition at the Italian Embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador to France organized a dinner in his presence, centered around the artist’s works.

2013: - Collective exhibition Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: - Karl donated to the city of Deauville a bronze Crytogram One sculpture, permanently at the city entrance.
- For the 65th Cannes Film Festival anniversary, Karl created a sculpture “Building” made from a collage of photos tracing the festival’s key moments.
