ABOUT THE ARTIST

Jorge Palomo (Madrid, 1976)

Jorge was graduated as an architect in 2003. His work is heavily influenced by architecture, continually searching for “that architectural space” in each of my pieces. What He tries to convey is how gravity, aided by light, can shape and create new associated spaces through what He calls the “three-dimensional line.” Three-dimensional lines that run across the plane, capture light, and when stretched, cast shadows, forming solids and voids. Edges, borders, limits... all with the same unique intention: to remove the line from the two-dimensional plane.
