The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before returning them individually to our collectors without any constraints. The transport cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

If the work is damaged, you must refuse delivery and specify the reason for the refusal on the delivery note, noting issues such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “folded.” If only the packaging is damaged but the contents are intact, you may accept the package. However, if both the packaging and the contents are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Note that if you accept the package without checking your purchase at delivery, we cannot request compensation or a replacement.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained prominence in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking among the top ten sculptors under 30 according to Artprice that same year. In 2012, New York publication Farameh named him one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, during the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at the age of 7 with collages, prompted by his encounter with sculptor César Baldaccini. He later turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition blending paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art at the Art Monaco fair with his Cryptogram One creation. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works on the theme “In God We Trust” at the Artco France gallery. His 2016 solo exhibition at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works in front of the international press.

2026: - Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters tall, 7 tons. The largest One Dollar sculpture in the world created by the artist.

2025: - Installation of the monumental Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the brand-new Pavillon des Bains, on the Promenade Michel d'Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Group exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. On this occasion, a bronze cryptogram of 1m80 and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival, for which the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special St Regis edition One Dollar.

2022: - New York: Times Square NY City, projection on the Nasdaq screen of the work “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”
- Presentation of American Film Festival trophies to Thandiwe Newton, Jesse Eisenberg, Ana de Armas…

2021: - New studio in Austin, Texas, USA.
- Solo exhibition of the artist.

2020: - Start of work on the largest piece ever created by the artist: the One Dollar Bronze Green 8 Meters.

2019: - Deauville American Film Festival: the artist created a new sculpture, representing his dollar engraved in aluminum.

- Several One Dollar sculptures by the artist exhibited inside the Royal Monceau Hotel.

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the Deauville American Film Festival trophies.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter tall, fully bronze One Dollar was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First in Spain at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the city mayor, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. A special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work consists of a Maserati covered with a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures representing one-dollar bills are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt

2014: - Maserati presents worldwide the Maserati Ghibli reinterpreted by artist Karl Lagasse to celebrate the marque’s 100th anniversary.
- Solo exhibition at the Italian Embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador to France organized a dinner in his presence, around the artist’s works.

2013: - Collective exhibition Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: - Karl donated to the city of Deauville a bronze Crytogram One sculpture, which will permanently stand at the city’s entrance.
- For the 65th Cannes Film Festival, Karl created a sculpture “Building” composed of a collage of photos retracing the festival’s key moments.
