Description from the seller

Bedside carafe silver
Portugal assay mark (1887-1937), 833/000, and same date marker's mark.

Elegant bedside carafe, crafted in deep cobalt blue glass and finely decorated with delicate gilt motifs featuring bows and foliate designs, giving the piece a timeless and refined character.

The carafe rests on a solid silver base, beautifully worked with ornamental relief, adding both elegance and value to the ensemble. Such items were traditionally used on bedside tables for water, perfumes, or aromatic essences, and are today highly appreciated as decorative and collectible objects.

The striking contrast between the intense blue glass and the subtle gold decoration creates a harmonious and sophisticated appearance, making this piece suitable for both classic interiors and more contemporary settings.

A charming and functional decorative object, ideal for collectors of antique glassware, silver objects, or for anyone seeking a distinctive piece with history and character.

Condition: Good condition, consistent with age, with no visible cracks or breaks.
Materials: Decorated glass and silver base.

Height: 17cm
