Old Holland Stile R, a 1970 bicycle located in Italy and awaiting restoration, with a Brooks B33 leather saddle, Universal 180 center-pull brakes, a bottle dynamo feeding a large chrome headlamp, and a double-top-tube frame typical of classic ladies’ bikes.
Description from the seller
The Frame: The name "Old Holland" refers to the Dutch style, characterized by a geometry that favors stability and an upright, comfortable riding position. The Bordeaux color with gold threading is typical of Olympia production from that period.
• The Saddle: Equipped with a Brooks B33. It is a top-grade leather saddle, fitted with double rear springs and a front coil spring. It is considered one of the most comfortable saddles ever made for touring bikes.
• Brakes: Uses Universal 180 center-pull brakes. Universal was an Italian excellence and these brakes were the standard for luxury touring and city bikes.
• Lighting System: There is a bottle dynamo on the front fork that powers the large chrome headlight by rolling on the tire’s shoulder.
• Design: The upper "double tube" (the two thin parallel bars) is not only aesthetic, but also serves to stiffen the frame, a typical feature of "lady" bikes of the time.
ATTENTION.
Shipping must be organized by the buyer; I am, of course, available for photos and videos at the time of loading with couriers or any person entrusted with the transport, and I am available for anything else.
