SHARD’s Sacred Glass (Handmade) is a 60 × 60 cm mixed‑technique artwork from Italy, period 2020+, unsigned on the glass but accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, depicting religious imagery in black and white and sold directly by the artist without a frame.
Description from the seller
SHARD artworks arise from a rare creative process: the subject is drawn by breaking the glass with hammer blows. The hammer becomes the pencil, and the cracks are the stroke that defines the image. The result is a work of art impossible to replicate; the cracks are natural and unpredictable, creating figures and portraits with details that exist only once. The interaction between light and cracks generates dynamic reflections and unexpected depth, transforming the surface into a luminous and sparkling architectural structure.
Shard shows affinities with artists such as Simon Berger and Niall Shukla, while maintaining a personal and immediately recognizable style. The Shard works are ideal pieces for collectors seeking a truly unique artwork.
The artwork is sold unframed, is not signed directly on the glass, but is accompanied by an authenticity certificate with the relevant data tied to the piece.
