Eric Jourdan's first novel. A landmark LGB book, revolutionary in its depictions of homoeroticism. It was banned immediately after its publication in 1955. Two teenage boys spend a summer on the banks of the Loire. Apart from the then controversial topic a minor masterpiece in its own right. Terrific writing.

Exceedingly rare. Very good condition. Binding somewhat loose, but very much intact, no inscriptions.
