A monumental and realistic painting depicting the bow of a hull under construction, observed by two men in suits. The light cuts through steel and sky, creating a dramatic tension in Hopper-esque fashion. The scene evokes industrial power and the smallness of man in the face of modernity, in a cinematic and silent aesthetic.
Le Yack, a French pop and emerging street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, aka Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) of Orléans. He is a creative director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, United States.
