In its original ivory white colored frame; 67 x 76 cm

Painter and graphic artist Wilhelm Wagner initially trained as a goldsmith, but eventually chose to become a visual artist. After studies in Hanau, Barmen and Berlin, he worked in Paris and Copenhagen. In the years 1917-22 Wagner also lived in the Netherlands, including Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam.
