Title: "In Motion"
Description:
Sometimes something arises not from a plan, but from an impulse. A breath, a swing of the arm, a moment when the head tilts to the side and the body takes over. "In Motion" captures exactly this moment.
The black lines seem as if they are still in motion. They fling across the surface, arc broad, become thin, almost tear away—and yet find themselves again. Drops land in between like heartbeat flashes. Nothing appears rigid or finished. Everything seems to be in the process of becoming.
It is a painting about letting go. About trusting that not every step has to be controlled. That movement is not always straight and narrow—sometimes hesitant, sometimes wild, sometimes surprisingly gentle.
"In Motion" reminds us that stagnation is often only a pause. That life leaves traces. And that even in apparent chaos a quiet, own choreography emerges—if we dare to move along with it.

The canvas is delivered rolled up.
Christoph Prein is an Austrian artist known for his abstract and contemporary works, created mainly with acrylic paints. Originally from St. Margarethen near Knittelfeld, Prein’s pieces are often characterized by a minimalist, abstract style and are carefully crafted from high-quality materials to ensure vibrant colors and longevity. In his art, he frequently explores themes such as identity, memory, and the examination of human emotions, often pushing the boundaries between the visible and the invisible.
Prein’s approach to art is multidimensional, combining painting with elements of sculpture and installation. This unique style has earned him recognition both in Austria and internationally, with exhibitions across Europe, North America, and Asia. His works often invite the viewer to contemplate the complexities of the modern world and the deeper aspects of the human experience.
For a painting measuring 200 x 90 cm, you need a stretched canvas of 190 x 80 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can either stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery.
This is a handcrafted original, signed by the artist on the back and dated.
High-quality and light-fast acrylic paints have been used on a repeatedly white-primed gallery canvas.
A varnish was also applied to protect the work.
This work is handmade and thus unique!
--- Certificate of authenticity included ---
Beautify your private residence, law firm, practice, or office and upgrade your spaces in an elegant and stylish way.
When a person goes into his innermost depths, into a sphere that rarely comes to light, into a space that is mysteriously and hiddenly waiting to be discovered, tickled awake, also tormentingly uplifted, then art is born.
