It begins with a feeling that can no longer be kept inside. Something builds up, gathers strength, seeks an exit—and finally breaks out. The black and red lines appear like spontaneous reactions that cannot be governed by intellectual control, but arise directly from an inner urge.

One senses the tension of a moment in which an impulse is stronger than any control. The red splashes resemble heartbeats that suddenly accelerate, while the black traces look like the path of a movement unfolding at the same moment you feel it.

Thus the painting tells of how we sometimes act before we think—honest, raw, and deeply human. It shows that a single impulse can have enough power to fill an entire surface with meaning.
