Mayra Cinta's original oil painting Respiro di Luce (50 × 50 cm) from 2026, depicting an animal, signed and sold directly by the artist, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Title: Breath of Light
Technique: Oil on canvas
Dimensions: 50 × 50 cm
Artist: Mayra Cinta
Description:
In this work the artist Mayra Cinta concentrates attention on the suspended moment, on the almost invisible instant when movement stops before it even exists. The hummingbird, universal symbol of vital energy and spiritual presence, appears suspended in a rarefied and luminous space, immersed in a golden atmosphere that does not represent a physical place but an inner state.
Light does not simply illuminate the subject: it generates it. The warm and deep background envelops the figure creating a contemplative and silent dimension, where time seems to slow down. The contrast between the hyperreal meticulousness of the animal and the abstraction of the surrounding space builds a visual tension that invites the observer to stop, breathe and perceive.
The work reflects the artist's exploration of personal transformation, a recurring theme in her production. The hummingbird thus becomes a metaphor for resilience, lightness, and rebirth: a presence fragile only apparently, but capable of staying still in the chaos of the world.
Unique work, entirely handmade.
