10 g 999.9 gold bars from PAMP Suisse Fortuna
The company PAMP Suisse (Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux), founded in 1977 and headquartered in the Swiss canton of Ticino, is an internationally recognized and leading producer of precious metal bars. The “Lady Fortuna” is the best-known design and has become PAMP’s global ambassador. It is regarded as a symbol of outstanding quality.
Front side
The obverse features the well-known design of the “Lady Fortuna.” The Roman goddess of luck and fate is perfectly staged on the gold bar together with all her attributes. Fortuna’s attributes symbolize luck and fate. On the bar you can see a sheaf of wheat, a poppy flower, a cornucopia, valuable coins, and a wheel of fortune. On closer inspection, Fortuna is shown with bound eyes. The blindfold signifies that Fortuna distributes good and bad fates randomly.
Back side
The value/issuer side of the gold bar shows the manufacturer’s name “PAMP SUISSE,” the net weight “10 g FINE GOLD,” and the fineness “999,9.” In addition, the serial number, consisting of one letter and six digits, and the rectangular PAMP emblem can be seen. At the lower edge of the gold bar is the LBMA mark of the manufacturer, “ESSAYEUR FONDEUR,” which attests to high quality.
