Description from the seller
THE STORY BEHIND
Second work in the series dedicated to Gaudí's Casa Milà, known as La Pedrera.
This painting captures a detail of the flying buttress of one of the roof towers, highlighting
the organic architecture characteristic of the Catalan master. From a carefully chosen angle,
the stairs guiding the eye towards a tunnel form the central axis of the composition.
Through that tunnel, the imposing silhouette of the Sagrada Familia, another of Gaudí's emblematic works, can be glimpsed in the distance.
