Description from the seller
Silver-plated metal tea box – Moroccan production – incised decoration – second half of the 20th century
Detailed description
Elegant oriental-style tea box, made of silver-plated metal with rich incised and embossed floral and arabesque motifs. The octagonal shape, central medallions with repoussé work, decorative side rings, and spherical feet clearly evoke the North African artisanal tradition, particularly Moroccan. The hinged lid features a turned knob and concentric incised decorations. The interior is smooth and silvered, with a natural patina consistent with its age.
